PGD. 1:
Pursue career opportunities within health care, industry, education, research, and other roles as they evolve for the dental assistant.
PGD. 2:
Develop practice management and marketing strategies to be used in the delivery of oral health care.
PGD. 3:
Access professional and social networks to pursue professional goals.
During my two years in dental hygiene school I was able to attend various continuing education courses. I attended MDHA twice, and a board review seminar in Dallas, TX. These opportunities presented me with additional knowledge, tips, and keys to being a successful dental hygienist. Below is a paper I wrote on one of the continuing education courses I attended.

From these opportunities, I was also connected with various professionals in the dental community.
